Hey you.
I’ve got this uber-secret hack I’m gonna tell you, purely because we’re close friends and I’m a nice person…
Ever had trouble finding keywords?
Ya know… the things all these SEO guy keep banging on about? You pretend like you use them all the time and TOTALLY understand what they’re talking about!
Well now you can…
Google ranks its website according to all sorts of criteria and algorithms (there’s really no point in trying to boycott the system, it won’t work and google will just hate and de-rank you!)
Instead, you can use keywords. These are basically the words that people might associate or use to find your website, webpage or product.
It is difficult to find the right ones that people actually use, AND it can be difficult to compete with big players like Wal-Mart and Apple for example.
But don’t worry, Google knows this is a problem for little guys like us, so it made a nice little fancy tool!
Click on this and the screen below will show up….
Type in a fairly generic keyword you are thinking of using on your site and what category they are in for example “SEO”. Then enter in the CAPTCHA code and it will come up with a list of keywords in that field.
You can then rank these by various criteria e.g. relevance, keyword, competition, global monthly searches and local monthly searches etc. I would recommend searching by competition and global/local monthly searches to get an idea of what is “hot” on your subject at the moment.
You can then narrow these down specifically to your business and start implementing them in your website code under the top bit in “keywords” or “Meta” section.
Hope you learned something!
Your Pal, Natalie XO

Spot on with this write-up, I truly feel this site requirements far more consideration. I’ll likely be once again to read a lot more, thanks for that info.
